Check Rear Park Aid error

Finally had the time to take in my Sport to the dealer to get the "Check Rear Park Aid" error looked at. This is that they found:

FORD OBD ERROR CODE C1706 - LEFT REAR CENTER SENSOR CIRCUIT FAILURE.
VOLTAGE SUPPLY TO SENSORS BAD-OPEN AT SPLICE 423 BEHIND REAR BUMPER REPAIRED WIRING, RETEST, OK

$297.50 in labor. I'm into my extended warranty now and paid the $100 deductible. No more issues...

Anyone else ever had this problem?

My 2009 fusion sel has the same problem and I've read before even when shops say they fixed it, it comes back. How long have you had it fixed? I dont want to waste money at the shop if it comes back.

mrplymouth - I had it repaired back in January of this year and so far - no issues since.
