I own a 2016 Ford Fusion Hybrid and I had problems with my remote. Intermittently it would start the car and lock the doors and other times it wouldn't work. Found a video on YouTube that gets it to relearn the functions. Now it works great. In the YouTube post quite a few people went to a dealer and were told they needed the remote reprogrammed, at least one was charged 145.
