2014 Fusion needs NAV maps undated????

I went to set my NAV for a destination nearby. It did not recognize the area, so i went in and looked up the details. My car is a 2014, i bought it in July and it already needs the NAV maps updated. I thought it would be no big deal however they expect me to pay 150$ US ( i'm Canadian Eh') for a feature that is still brand spanking new?! Its not like the NAV is a cheap add-on either. If anyone knows any other way to upgrade the maps please let me know, or if you went in to the dealer and they did it for nothing again any information would be great.

The maps are on a sd card. What version do you have? The dealer may have given you an older one. The lasted one i know of is the A5
