Curious as to whether the 2.5 liter Fusion engine will fit any rear-drive transmission? I'm very happy with my 2012 Fusion 2.5, my neighbor has a '72 Pinto for sale cheap, and I think it would be a fun swap to get a junkyard engine and swap it into a Pinto. First question is, will any Ford rear drive trans fit the Fusion bolt circle? Tons of problems from there to be solved, I know, but first things first. Thanks for any replies.
