Test and Tune at Route 66 Raceway

Back on September 27th, 2013, I took my Fusion Sport to Route 66 Raceway in Joliet, IL for the first time for some quarter-mile fun. I ran three times, getting better each run. Here's my results:

1st run in the right lane - 14.915 @ 93.76 - got smoked by a Corvette
2nd run in the left lane - 14.791 @ 94.86 - got even more smoked by a Jeep Cherokee SRT8
3rd and final run in the right lane - 14.689 @ 93.99 - barely beat a '88 Mustang LX 5-speed only because I left at the 3rd yellow and my reaction time was .108

Not bad for my first time at the drag strip. I ran average with the mods I have installed. And here are the videos:

Yeah next year is fine, we're currently working on getting some interests for a large nationwide Ford Fusion meet.
