The first ever Chicagoland Ford Fusion Meet on Saturday October 4th, 2014! All Fusion/Milan/Zephyr/MKZ enthusiasts who are local and abroad are welcome!

https://www.facebook.com/events/327045357456287/

The meet is brought to you by Fuzzy Dice Hot Rod, Custom & Classic Car Shows & Cruise Nights and our gracious host, The Striped Pole, a local barber shop. The meet would not be possible without their help. The meet location is (see map info below):

4005 Algonquin Rd.
Rolling Meadows, IL 60008

Meet time will be from 12:00pm to 4:00pm. The meet location is easily accessible off of Route 53 and Algonquin Rd.

Windy City Croftgate will be on hand if you're interested in CroftgateUSA products and will be giving demos. We hope that Team Project X of Project X Customs can make it out with 1 or 2 of their custom rides. We also hope that PJ from Fuzzy Dice Car Shows can make it out as well. Our very own Troy Walls of CD3 Performance will be attending. Chandler Welling of The Lighting Firm will be attending as well.

We will depart from the meet at 4:00pm to head to Whole Foods Market located at 1101 S. Canal St., Chicago, IL 60607. Here we will take pictures of the south loop skyline view on top of the parking garage. Parking is free for 90 minutes as long as you get your parking ticket validated at Whole Foods. Otherwise, there's a charge ranging from $2 to $9 depending on how long we're there. When we're done there, we'll head towards the lake to an area over between the Shedd Aquarium and the Adler Planetarium to get more skyline pictures. If this area is too crowded, we'll head over to Northerly Island. See maps below.

Our meet photographer/videographer will be from the courtesy of Mike Anthony Autosports. I'll also be bringing my camera gear as well. Everyone else is welcome to do the same.

At the meet, we're being asked to support the local businesses in the shopping center that's letting us use their location. If you're hungry and looking for a meal, options are:

Stadium Sports Club & Pizza - bar food
Sakura - Japanese food and sushi
La Charanga - Mexican food
24/7 Pantry - for quick snacks and beverages

In need a trim, haircut or shave while you're in town? Visit Sofia at The Striped Pole!

Outside of the meet activities, everyone is on their own to do as they please. On Sunday, October 5th, if anyone's interested, there will be a cruise from the meet location to Two Brothers Brewing Company:

30W315 Calumet Ave W.
Warrenville, IL 60555

They have tours, beer tastings, and some pretty good food! Warrenville is a bit South of Schaumburg/Rolling Meadows.

Meet Rules:

For the Chicagoland Ford Fusion Meet, there will be rules to follow. First and foremost is RESPECT:
1. Respect for the location - other local car shows and meets use this location. Let's not ruin it so that we can keep coming back for future meets.
2. Respect for Rules of the Road - we don't need local law enforcement arresting anyone.
3. Respect for the community. No personal insults, no bullying, no douchbaggery! Everyone has different tastes (and opinions) but please keep your opinions to yourselves. Let's enjoy the meet and have fun!

Everyone please watch this video as it applies to all car shows/meets:

Thanks everyone!
