Troy Walls of CD3 Performance (www.cd3performance.com) will be hosting a meet in Detroit, Michigan, the weekend of July 25th 2014. The main meet will be Saturday July 26th. This meet is open to all but Fusions, Milans, MKZ's/Zephyrs, Edges, and MKX's will be the focus. This will be the biggest "Fusion" meet in history so if you can make it, you will want to be there. There will be giveaways from sponsors including, but not limited to, Vogtland and 3D Carbon. Tentative guest appearances include MRT, Ice Nine, Aaron Vaccar, and CDC with their SEMA Fusions. CD3's personal photographer, Steven Pham, will be on hand to take pictures and video of all attendees.

The tentative schedule will be drag racing at our local Milan Dragway on Friday evening during Test and Tune (Gates open at 5pm). The main meet starts at 12pm Saturday July 26th on beautiful Belle Isle. There will be some food supplied but you are free to bring your own refreshments. Recommended activities following the meet include cruising on the famous Woodward strip, enjoying the casinos, restaurants, riverfront, festivals, and bars downtown.

Sunday is completely open as we assume people will be leaving that day. Create your own small breakfast meetup (We recomend Hudson Cafe downtown) or just enjoy your last day around town.

Also, Windsor Ontario is just a 5 min drive through the tunnel. If you want to check that out (Bars, Clubs, Casino,) be sure to bring your Passport to get across.

Everything is in walking distance. Your cars will be inside and safe at all of these places. Detroit hotels don't do non-secure parking. Also you shouldn't be paying a ton for a hotel. This is Detroit. Almost everything is cheap here. You can find good deals at at least one of the above.

We currently have 60 cars or so showing up for the weekend from all over the midwest and Canada with more joining. We will be attending Milan for their test and tune Friday evening so that everyone who is in town can have their grudge matches and see what their cars are actually capable of. This starts at 5:00pm.

The main meet will be Saturday the 26th, 12:00pm until 6:00pm (or when people feel like leaving) at Belle Isle. We will be in the area of Pavillion 16 & 17. I have attached a map of the Island so you can see what I am referring to. Belle Isle is transitioning into a state park so their may be a charge to get on it by then (just a heads up). I will be providing tacos and fruit water for everyone but people are free to bring whatever they want to eat and/or grille.

Saturday night we will be heading out to Woodward to cruise a bit but this will be more of a free form activity as we want people to enjoy their time in the city.

SEMA Guest cars so far are the MRT 07 AWD Turbo Fusion, 07 Turbo MKZ AWD, 10 Turbo 6 speed 4cyl, and 2013 Ecoboost Fusion. Other guest cars are CDC Talledega Fusion and the Ice Nine Ecoboost Fusion.

Hotels in the area are filling up fast in the area due to a HUGE Jehovah's Witnesses conference in town the same weekend as the meet. Here's the hotel where several of us have booked and have reasonable rates:

The hotel is 25-30 minutes away from Belle Isle and 35-40 minutes away from Milan Dragway so it's a good in-between location right by Detroit Metro Airport. Fellow Fusion owners who are local are going to meet us at this hotel so we can cruise to Belle Isle together.
